Where do our ideas of right and wrong come from? We are human animals but we are capable of thinking and reasoning. Are many of the same morals innate in most of us? What are the roles of reason and experience? In this discussion, we will get it right. Randy Best is an experienced mediator and leader of the Northern Virginia Ethical Society. He is a graduate of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government with 20 years’ experience as a mediator.

Come on by as we transform our hustling, bustling coffee shop into a tranquil space for yoga! Jenn Brown from Source Core Studio will lead us in Flow, or "Vinyasa", Yoga which synchronizes movement with breath, linking the postures together into a dynamic practice. The breath is used as a constant focus of attention, lending your practice into mindfulness movement. Whether you're brand new or an experienced yogi, all levels are welcome. Mats will be provided.

At this Penny University, not only will you learn how to make Greek Coffee, but we will discuss how the left-over grounds can tell you about yourself and your future. Taught by one of Caffe Amouri’s own, it would be quite unfortunate if you missed this event!

Expect some yummy samples and treats- No experience necessary! This is the second in a series of classes REI is holding at Caffe Amouri– the first was how to make a delicious cup of coffee while camping. Look out for the next one in October!

Humor allows him to speak honestly and cheer up those close to him...in proximity. During the day he teaches corporate improv & team building through his company Improv Connects.
